Precious formula found
Posted by: Phat Mama, 29-Jan-2010For decades, an unfinished formula created by the late Estee Lauder remained locked in the archives of the famous fragrance house, International Flavors and Fragrances (IFF).
The fragrance, Formula #546AQ, was said to be extraordinary, visualized by the late Lauder as a new way to convey sparkling freshness balanced with sophisticated elegance and a distinctive signature.
As time goes by, the formula remained in the archives and left untouched for many years. It might have remained that way if not for the efforts made by Estee Lauder's granddaughter Aerin Lauder who did some "spring cleaning" and discovered this precious treasure.

Aerin, who is strongly inspired by her grandmother's work, decided to complete the unfinished business. She started experimenting on the formula and produced startling results after one-and-a-half-year. One can easily assume that the fragrance called Private Collection Jasmine White Moss is a tribute to its original creator as well as her successor.

This fragrance is the third produced by Aerin. The other two are Private Collection Tuberose Gardenia and Private Collection Amber Ylang Ylang. The Private Collection Jasmine White Moss has an opulent white bouquet surrounded by delicate moss, rich woods and 15 100% pure natural fragrance Absolutes.
Its packaging is a collaboration between Aerin and Doug Lloyd, inspired by Estee's private world in which the colors blue and white were dominant. The parfum cap is embellished with natural semi-precious gems with each cap having a different stone, making each piece unique.
